Polish Foreigh Minister thinks that Belarus was lucky
According to Radoslaw Sikorski, the EU could have broken all relations with Belarus long ago.
In Sikorski's opinion, the reason for this may be constant repressions against the opposition. He said this on Monday. Radoslaw Sikorski thinks that Belarus should appreciate the fact that it had not been thrown out of the "Eastern Partnership" after December 19.
The next "Eastern Partnership" summit is planned to take place on September 29-30. Sikorski made it clear in his speech at a meeting organized by the European Policy Center in Brussels, that although it was not likely that Lukashenka would be invited to the summit, representatives of the regime might take part in it, “Radio Liberty” informs.
