PACE President: We are worried about political prisoners’ problem

"There is a representative of every political group in the commission”, - said PACE President Mevlüt Çavusoglu at a briefing before the opening of the spring session of the PACE, reports the AFN.

He has noted that the decision to create such a commission was discussed at a meeting of the PACE Bureau in Paris last month.

According to Çavusoglu , “they are worried about the things happening in Belarus” and it concerns the problem of detentions of Belarusian opposition members in particular.

"I would still like to conduct a dialogue with Belarus and I would still like to give a status to Belarus, but Belarus should fulfill its commitments too”, - he stressed.
