Orthodox metropolitan donates his Rolex
Priest parts with his expensive watch to help church pay bills in Bulgaria
A church in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv had to pay a huge electricity bill in January – about 1500 euro. When local metropolitan Nikolai found out about it, he donated his expensive Rolex to the church in order to cover the bill. Any left-over money would be spent on charity.
The price tag for a Rolex watch ranges from several thousand to a few dozen thousand euros, RIA "Novosti" reports.
