Niasvizh officially becomes cultural capital since today
Inauguration of the project "Nyasvizh is a cultural capital of Belarus-2012" will take place in the city today.
Nyasvizh has become the third city which got this honourable title. Previously, the cultural capitals of Belarus were Polatsk (2010) and Homel (2011).
The "Kharoshki" band, the band "Pastoral" which plays ancient Belarusian music, and the theater named after Ursula Radziwill will participate in the project's opening ceremony. Also, there will be a concert of the Bolshoy Theatre's vocalists called "Musical treasures of Nyasvizh". They will perform a fragment from the opera "Someone else's wealth does not serve anyone", which was first sang 200 years ago.
