Number of officially unemployed people increases by 8,5% in January
A little more than 30 thousand people are on the record in the country's employment centers now.
According to BELTA, this is 11% less than a year ago, and 8,5% more in comparison with January 1, 2012.
The majority of the new unemployed live in Homel region - 2900 people. In Minsk, the number of the unemployed increased the least - 1200 people. On the whole, more than 16 thousand citizens became officially unemployed in January.
An average scope of the aid provided to the unemployed in January was 105 thousand Belarusian roubles. This is approximately 15% of the living wage.
