Nomination of candidates for deputies to start on July 15
It will last till August 13.
Political parties, working collectives and
citizens by the way of collecting signatures have a right to nominate their
contenders to the House of Representatives. Political parties can nominate
their representatives to all 110 electoral districts - 1 per each district. The
parties' directive boards decide on the contenders for the position of a
deputy, informs BELTA.
The candidates from the working collectives are nominated at an assembly, which
should gather more than a half of the organization's employees. As for
collecting signatures, a potential candidate should register a nomination group
and then collect no less than a thousand signatures of people who live at the
territory of his electoral district.
Registration of candidates for deputies of the House of Representatives will take place from August 14 till August 23 inclusively. After that there will be the time for agitation campaign. The main election day is September 23.
