New sanctions may be imposed on Belarus in April

The Ukrainian agency UNIAN informed about it referring to a high-ranking EU diplomat on April 7.

"The case in point is the introduction of new economic sanctions”, - said the interlocutor of the agency.

"At the same time, our goal is to not to make Belarusians citizens feel like hostages”, - he added.
The decision about new economic sanctions may be made at a meeting of EU Foreign Ministers in April.
