Nazarbayev to be inaugurated today
According to the announced results of the extraordinary presidential election, which took place this Sunday, Nazarbayev got about 95,5% of votes.
The Central Election Commission decided to consider Nursultan Nazarbayev an elected President.
OSCE observers claimed that the election in Kazakhstan had not been democratic in fact. The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, on the contrary, stated that the election had reflected the will of people.
