National Bank: Currency may appear in exchange offices in May
National Bank will deal with this issue having received credit from Russia.
The head of the chief administration for currency regulation of currency control of the Belarusian National Bank Anatol Maroz has said this, BELTA reports.
"We are expecting external credits. In the first place, we have conducted negotiations with Russia. It demanded a program of anti-crisis measures from us, and we have already provided such program. This issue should be solved next week, or in May. After this we will take all the necessary measures for stabilization of the currency market in the Republic of Belarus", - Anatol Maroz has explained and added that the cash currency would appear right after that.
He also noted that dollar rate being Br3 800 is normal. "The rate which is now used at the interbank is overstated".
