Movie festival "Listapad" opens in Minsk

Participants and guests of the festival walked along the red carpet before the festive opening ceremony. Among them there were Belarusian and foreign cinema personalities, members of the international jury, creators of the movies which participated in the contest.

The movie "Alena" directed by the Russian Andrej Zvyagintsev opened the festival's program, BelaPAN reports. The movie was first shown at the 64th Cannes festival where it won the "Special View" nomination.

"Listapad"  gathered cinema personalities from more than 30 countries of the world. The festival is conducted in Belarus for the 18th time.
