Movie about attack on Babruisk KGB published in internet (video)
The short movie "Belarusian Wall" is dedicated to the so-called "Babruisk" case.
The authors
are trying to find out the real motivation of the participant of the
demonstrative attack on the Babruisk KGB office on October 16, 2010, informs
the human rights center "Vyasna".
All subjects of Babruisk case were arrested on January 17, 2011. In May each of
them were sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment. Yauhen Vaskovich, Artsyom
Prakapenka and Pavel Syramalotau stood trials under two articles of the
Criminal Code - "Malicious hooliganism" and "Deliberate
endamagement in especially big amount". Besides, the real damage caused by
the youngsters is Br 253K (56,2 USD). This money was already paid.
Meanwhile, Pavel Syramalotau was released in September 2012 after the plea to
the state leader. Prakapenka and Vaskovich stay in prison.
