Mikalaj Statkevich is on waiting list to disciplinary cell
The political prisoner has informed this when he called his wife Maryna Adamovich.
Adamovich: "In fact, it was a really unexpected call as I didn't know where he was. I thought he was serving punishment in the disciplinary cell. However, it turned out that he was on a waiting list for some "elite" cell. Until then, he stays in his cell in the detention center and, thank God, he didn't lose the rights for phone-calls. He is absolutely self-confident and calm, judging from his voice and tone, and all other signs".
Let us remind you, Statkevich got punishment after one of his cell-mates cut his wrists. The political prisoner is convinced that it was a provocation against him. He told his wife once again that he was not going to ask for pardon.
According to Maryna Adamovich, this phone-call was longer than usual. Normally, prisoners are granted 15 minutes per month for phone-calls.
