Lukashenka approves MFA's suggestions on more active work with EU
The head of the state on Tuesday received Belarus foreign policy chief Uladzimir Makey with a report.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka approved the MFA's suggestions on "activization of work with European partners". He turned the attention to Belarus' relations with partners not only in the West, but in the East as well. "What is happening at the East-West axis?" BELTA quotes Lukashenka. "I am more interested in the West issues, but there also might be questions on the Eastern direction, mainly, on the United Economic Space and the Russian Federation, in view of the upcoming Supreme State Council of the Union State".
Alyaksandr Lukashenka listened to the report about the plans of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs for the current year and for the nearest future. Special
attention was paid to the perspectives of Belarus' relations with the United
