Raman Mentsyuk has been released recently - a year earlier than indented. What has happened to the people whose cars were rammed in 2008?

Neither Henadz Darahakupets nor Alyaksei Lihtarovich have returned to the driving inspectorate. Retired major Henadz Darahakupets has found another job. But he is still sure: he and his colleague became the scapegoats in that incident.

The driving inspectors created a live shield out of cars to stop Raman Mentsyuk on March 2, 2008.

Now Darahakupets claims that he and his colleague were innocent and that.. there was no live shield at all!

Henadz Darahakupets: "Who stopped them? Nobody did! That's a pack of lies!"

Euroradio: Do you mean that there was no live shield?

Henadz Darahakupets: “Of course, there wasn't!"

Raman Mentsyuk's VW Golf collided with Yury Pashkevich's BMW 525 at the speed of 160 km/h. Yury, his wife and 3-yera-old daughter were in the car. He remembers Lihtarovich - he stopped their car.

Iury Pashkevіch: “It was Lihtarovich, I am sure! And Darahakupets was there. I could clearly see them."

Yury's daughter is almost 8 years old now. But she still remembers the incident very well.

Henadz Darahakupets does not care about Raman Mentsyuk's release. On the contrary, Yury Pashkevich wonders why a person who systematically violats the order can be amnestied.
