Kwaśniewski urges EU to help Belarusians more actively
The former President of Poland thinks that the European Union should develop relations with civil organizations and politicians and support them.
He said this on air to the Ukrainian "5th Channel" on October 16. Aleksander Kwaśniewski stated that the EU should have an active policy towards Belarus. In the opinion of the former President of Poland, the West should take the same steps with regard to Belarus as it did with regard to the Socialist Poland in 1970-80s, Radio Liberty informs.
