“Inter RAO”: We have been working on trust for three months

Nikolai Gorelov, press secretary of “Inter RAO”, has informed Euroradio about it.

Gorelov: “As of today, Belarus has not paid the debt for the second tranche. That is why we have applied for a power cut. We have already postponed it for “Belenergo” several times but we cannot be working on credit for three months”.

Even if the supplies are suspended, they will be resumed as soon as the debt is paid, says the representative of “Inter RAO”. By the way, it is very easy to cut the power, says Gorelov, - it is like unplugging.

According to him, Russian energy makes about 10% of Belarus’ daily energy consumption.
