Hugo Chavez cause of death and last words
Hugo Chavez has not died of cancer but of a heart attack. His last words were: "I do not want to die, please don't let me die".
A heart attack was the reason for the Venezuelan President's death. Head of the Presidential Guard who spent the last minutes of Chavez' life with him told the Associated Press about it.
General Jose Ornella confirmed that the President was in the last stage of cancer. However, he could not comment on any details of his struggle with the illness, RBK reports.
