Georgia and South Ossetia commemorate victims of war-2008

According to RBC, the exhibition called "Exhibition of Shot Paintings" will be opened in South Ossetia in the evening. It will take place at the Theatrical Square in the center of Tskhinvali. After that there will be a sacred procession to the Gergiev Staircase, where the participants will commemorate all those who got missing. A roundtable and the meeting with representatives of Ossetian diaspore from the abroad are planned on August 8 in Tskhinvali. 

Georgia's President Mikhail Saakashvili, in his turn, ordered to dip the flags at the whole territory of Georgia on August 7 and 8. This is done to honour the memory of the victims of the war-2008.

Let us remind you, the conflict between Russia and Georgia started at night on August 7-8, 2008. The reason for it was Russia's refusal to recognize the South Ossetia republic.
