Gas transit through Belarus not to be decreased, head of "Gasprom" says
Start of gas shipment through the "North Stream" pipeline does not mean decrease of gas shipment by other routes, including those through Belarus and Ukraine.
The head of "Gasprom" Aliaksej Miler has said that, according to the Russian news agencies, BELTA informs.
"The question is not put this way. Shipments through the "North Stream" will be conducted in accordance with new contracts", - Miler has said.
He has reminded that construction of the gas pipeline "North Stream" is planned to be completed in May, and test shipments will start this Spring. Aliaksej Miler has noted that "these will be shipments upon long-term contracts".
