Football federation delays investigation of referee insult

However, there will be no investigation in this regard, Euroradio has learned from the press center of the Belarusian Football Federation. It turns out that the inspector of the game did not reflect the mentioned incident in his report. Therefore, the Federation will investigate the incident only if one of the clubs demands it.

On April 3, during the Cup of Belarus semi-final game between Minsk FC and Tarpeda BelAZ Zhodzina, the fans badly insulted the referee. The game ended in the 1:0 victory of Minsk FC, and the team proceeded to the Cup of Belarus final. After the game, the fans chanted insults to chief referee of the match Syarhei Tsynkevich as he had cancelled Artsyom Chalyadzinski's goal in the first half. Tarpeda BelAZ Zhodzina head coach Ihar Kryvushenka says that the referee made a mistake.
