Real Madrid edge Man City in Champions League thriller (video)
The Champions' League group stage games took place on Tuesday.
"Real" played against
"Manchester City" at Santiago Bernabeu. The hosts had an
advantage in the first half, they attacked, but unsuccessfully. The visitors had taken a 1-0 lead thanks to
Edin Dzeko's counter-attack at the 68th minute. Marcelo
equalized only at the 76th minute. However, Manchester City took
the lead again - Alexander Kolarov's free kick at the 85th minute was a
success. At the 87th minute it was the time for Karim Benzema.
He hasn't scored in the official games for 947 minutes! This time he scored 2:2.
"Real" did not calm down after that - they continued to attack.
Christiano Ronaldo brought his team a late winner at the 90th minute - 3:2!
