11.25. Frontier guards have given Vital Ruhain's passport and notebook back. He has been let off. He is hitch-hiking in order to reach the capital now.
10:50. Vital Ruhain's notebook has been confiscated at the Lithuanian border. The confiscation protocol is drawn up according to the article 8.9 of the Administrative Code. According to the article, a physical entity's belongings can be confiscated during a search, examination or detention if they are important for making a decision in an administrative case.

Let us remind you that strangers were waiting for Vital Ruhain near the office of Euroradio after the detention of Euroradio journalist Pavel Svyardlou on June 22 (they showed his photo to the janitor). However, Ruhain managed to escape the arrest with the help of journalists from other mass media. He left for Poland. He has returned home after vacations for the first time today.
It was impossible to contact Vital at first. Then he phoned and said that he had gone through a full customs examination. They were about to let him off and then suddenly said: "Wait a bit, someone wants to talk to you". Ruhain's passport has been confiscated. Euroradio keeps watching the events.
Let us remind you that Euroradio made a report about Minsk metro - journalists entered the underground with a huge suitcase and nobody paid attention to them. Pavel Svyadlou and Vital Ruhain's detention could be organized to take revenge for it.
