EU Ambassadors may return to Minsk within a week

According to her, the Ambassadors will return to Minsk before the summit of the Council of the EU where possible sanctions will be discussed on March 23.

Let us remind you that the EU recalled its ambassadors at the end of February in response to Minsk’s decision to recall its representative in the EU and Ambassador to Poland. The EU Representative in Minsk and the Polish Ambassador to Belarus were asked to leave for their capitals for consultations.

MEP Christian Vinegin claimed on Thursday that Brussels “had received information about positive changes”. It was said that political prisoners could be released according to the demands of the European Parliament and the EU.
