"Dynama" Minsk to try to rehabilitate for wrong Latvia anthem
The incident happened on December 9 at a CHL game. "Dynama" Minsk will play against "Dinamo" Riga on Thursday.
The game starts on January 3rd at 7 p.m., "Minsk-Arena". Unfortunately there will be no live broadcast at the "Belarus-2" TV-channel due to biathlon. The hockey game will be shown recorded, at 8.55 p.m.
The Minskers will wear retro jerseys of the early 80s style because of the club's 90th anniversary .
Nearly a month ago, some unknown melody was played instead of Latvia's anthem before the kick-off in the game between "Dynama" Minsk and their clubmates from Riga. The Minsk club administration apologized for the incident and claimed that it happened due to software error. The Minskers promised to provide 100 free tickets to "Dinamo" Riga fans to the tomorrow's game.
The game is very important for Alyaksandr Andryeuski's team. In case of victory, the Minskers may rise to the 8th place in the Western Conference and push "Donbass" away from the play-off zone. "Dynama" have 51 points after 38 games, the Donetsk team have 52 pints after 40 games.
Defender Jere Karalahti misses his last game because of disqualification. He will come out to play already on January 6 in the away game against "Atlant" from Mytsishchy.
