Deputy PM: Salary level in the sphere of agriculture is rather low
An average salary in agriculture will increase by 2,2 times to $750 in the equivalent by the end of five years in Belarus, the deputy PM Valery Ivanou has said.
Valery Ivanou has admitted that at present moment the salary level in the sphere of agriculture is rather low (last year - $300 per month). However, salaries and incomes of villagers will keep on growing. It will help to lessen the "youth drain", BELTA informs.
"There is no personnel hunger at the moment, - the deputy PM has said. - Reconstruction is in process, we are implementing new technologies and high-productive technical equipment. Thus, we will need much less employees".
Besides, working migrants from the neighbouring countries are involved during the periods of mass agricultural works. He has mentioned Stolin district, where many Ukrainians work during "hot" seasons, as an example.
