Convicted anarchist Alinevich was beaten in detention center

The UCP web-site has informed about the incident. Ihar Alinevich composed the words "Viva Anarchy" of snowballs on the wall during the walk. Three people in masks demanded he should take off his sweater and wipe off what he had written. Alinevich answered he would wipe off these words, but not with his sweater. Then the people in masks started beating the prisoner with fists and batons.

After this they took the prisoner out of his cell and beat him once again in a special room. Traces of these "upbringing coversations" were left on the youngster's body and face. Alinevich wrote a complaint to the General Public Prosecutor, but it never left the KGB prison.

Let us remind you, Alinevich was sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment in a reinforced-security colony in the framework of the "anarchists' case".
