CEC comments on refusal to publish Haschavatski's programme

CEC secretary Mikalai Lazavik reminds that the CEC Observation Council  has published a recommendation about the things that can or cannot be published  and about candidates' speeches that can be broadcast or forbidden.

Mikalai Lazavik: “They cannot refuse you if they do not like something in your programme. Here's the decision of the Central Commission that has approved the decision of the Observation Council concerning the preparation for the election. It says: the boycott is not forbidden but free air time and free articles in newspapers will not be allocated for it".

Let us remind you that producer Yury Hashchavatski, deputy contender from the United Civil Party, was not allowed to publish his pre-election programme in the newspapers "Zvyazda" and "Respublica" on September 5.
