BT threatens to cancel pardon for Sannikau and Bandarenka
The Belarusian Television showed a report about the released political prisoners in the evening on April 17.
Journalists of BT claim that pardoned Andrei Sannikau and Zmitser Bandarenka reacted to their pardon in an improper way.
The state TV-Channel was incensed by Sannikau's statements that they could have driven him to death in the colony, and Bandarenka's statement that there is a network of concentration camps in Belarus.
In the opinion of the BT journalists, such words mean that the political prisoners regret the fact they have been pardoned. The journalists added that, in such case, Sannikau and Bandarenka might be returned back to prison "in strict correspondence with the law". However, they did not clarify the law according to which it is possible to cancel the pardon.
