Brest handball players nearly blast in Macedonia
The blast occurred on December 3 during the training of HC Meshkov Brest in Bitala, where the Brest team arrived to play the 1/16 finals of the Cup of Cups.
According to the press-center of the Belarusian Handball Federation, a part of one stand was blown onto the playing ground as a result of the blast. No Belarusian handball players or representatives of the coaching team suffered. However, the training was disrupted as the team was evacuated on an urgent basis.
Nevertheless, the Belarusians played against the team "Pelister 08" successfully. The game started in due time and ended with the score 26:25 to the advantage of the Brest team. However, someone threw a firecracker onto the playing ground 15 seconds before the end of the game.
