Belarusians take part in Schumann parade in Warsaw

Schumann parade went round Warsaw streets on May 7. Festive rallies are traditionally held in all the capitals of EU countries on the Day of Europe.

Belarusians of Warsaw took an active part in the event this year. Belarusian community went across Krakow Suburb from Plac Zamkowy to a special Suburb of Europe under white-red-white flags. Honourable guests greeted delegations from different EU countries, and made a special greeting to the Belarusian community with a "Long live free Belarus!" chant.



In the end of the event the participants cut a big cake with a sign "To United Europe", the former Polish PM Tadeusz Mazowiecki cut off the first piece.
