Belarusians to stay without Olympic medals again today (schedule)

37 countries already have them, including our neighbours - Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia.

According to the information provided by 
"Interfax-West", Belarusians will not be able to win any medals on Tuesday. The point is, only qualification and preliminary rounds will take place today in all the three kinds of sports (academic rowing, swimming, sailing). Katerina Karsten will fight for making it to the semi-final, swimmer Yauhen Tsurkin will try to pass a qualification round in 100 meters freestyle. 

As for the horse riding, we have no hopes for medals.

 

 

Schedule of Belarusian sportsmen for Tuesday, July 31:

Academic rowing
13.40 — women, singles, 1/4 final. Katerina Karsten.

Horse riding
12.30 — triathlon.
16.30 — final.
Belarusian Alyaksandr Fominau remains among the participants.

Sailing
14.00, 14.45 — men, "RS:X" (Belarusian Mikalaj Zhukavets participates).
14.00, 16.05 — women, "Lazer-Radial" (Belarusian Tatsiana Drazdouskaya participates).

Swimming
12.00 — men, 100 meters freestyle, preliminary rounds. 
21.30 — semi-final.
Belarusian Yauhen Tsurkin participates.

Tennis
18.00 — women, singles, 1/16 finals.
