Belarusian MPs in OSCE refuse to dispute with Sannikau's sister
A two-days session of OSCE's Parliamentary Assembly opened on February 23 in Vienna.
About 250 representatives of more than 50 countries are taking part in it. Belarus is represented by Victar Huminski and Nina Mazaj. The OSCE's Parliamentary Assembly is one of the few international organizations where the members of the Belarusian House of Representatives participate.
Belarusian issue is one of the key points on the agenda. On February 23, the political prisoner and former presidential candidate Andrej Sannikau's sister Iryna Bahdanava held a speech. Apart form that, a working group on Belarusian issues in the framework of the PA OSCE organized a seminar totally dedicated to Belarus. According to the information provided by nn.by, the official representatives of Belarus refused to take part in the seminar where Bahdanava spoke. They claimed that there were no political prisoners in our country.
