Belarusian national hockey team failed to get into World Ice Hockey Championship qualifiers. Our players unexpectedly lost to France in the final game of the preliminary stage – 1:2 (overtime).
Siarhej Dziamahin managed to score the only goal closer to the end of the game thus making it to overtime. However, the French scraped victory on the first minute of extra time.
