Belarus defeats Russia at basketball European championship (photo)

A second-round game of female basketball European championship took place on Thursday. Belarus confidently defeated Russia (10:14, 14:11, 26:15, 12:11).

Top scorers: Marchanka — 11, Leuchanka — 10, Trafimava — 9, Snytsina and Durejka —  7, Anufryenka and Troina — 6, Kres, Verameenka and Likhtarovich — 2.

In our group Е, Lithuania defeated Great Britain today — 64:63, the Czech Republic scraped victory from Turkey — 56:51.

Belarus has 5 points now, Lithuania and the Czech Republic - 6 points each. Russia has 4 points, Great Britain and Turkey - 3 points each. Four top teams of each group go to the quarter-finals.

On Saturday, June 25, Belarusians will play against Lithuania (the game starts at 21.30), on Monday, June 27 - against Turkey (the game also starts at 21.30).

Let us remind you, the European championship is taking place in Poland.
