Belarus asks for 5 million tons of oil more than "Transneft" can give
The Belarusian government and the Russian company differed in numbers with regard to oil shipment to Belarus in 2013.
Belarus pretends for 23 million tons of Russian oil. Meanwhile, "Transneft" claims that the company's technical capacities allow to ship only 18 million tons per year to our country.
Russia's Ambassador Alexander Surikov underlined that the statement of "Transneft" reflects only the company's position. The diplomat reminded about the existense of railway and other transport.
In 2012, Belarus imported oil from Russia mostly via pipe system, reminds the web-site "Business-leader".
