Belarus to abolish visas for tourists from EU since 2013?
The Ministry of Sports and Tourism made this suggestion for consideration of the Council of Ministers.
The Ministry of Sports suggests to simplify the visa regime for one European country, for example, Poland, in 2012 as an experiment, BELTA reports. This is how they want to try out the mechanism for visa abolishment. The representatives of the Ministry assure that the visa regime for the EU tourists may be totally abolished since 2013.
The decision on abolishment of the visa regime strongly depends on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The final decision will be taken by the state leader.
