BATE to learn whether Belarusian fans will be admitted to Fenerbahce game

The UEFA control-disciplinary commission punished Turkey's Fenerbahce with playing one Europa League game with empty stands because of the fans' disgraceful behaviour during the game against Borussia Durtmund on December 6. The Turkish club is accused of poor organization of the game and unacceptable behaviour of the fans who threw pyrotechnical stuff to the pitch.

According to Pressball, BATE FC is going to send an official enquiry to the UEFA with regard to possible presence of Belarusian fans in the guest sector. A group of BATE fans planned a trip to Turkey to support their team. They have already paid for the airplane tickets and hotel accommodation. It is unknown whether the Belarusians could hope for compensation.
