Azaranka and Kvitova withdraw from Indian Wells tennis tournament's doubles

Belarusian Victoria Azaranka and Czech Petra Kvitova got the wildcard from the organizers, BelaPAN reminds. In the tournament's first round, the Belarusian-Czech duet defeated Natalie Grandin (South Africa) and Vladimíra Uhlířová  (Czech Republic).

Azaranka and Kvitova were supposed to play against the Italians Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci. However, the game has been cancelled.

A year ago, Azaranka made it to the semi-final together with Russia's Maria Kirilenko, and to the final - in 2010, together with another representative of Russia - Vera Zvonareva.
