Another fine for Svislach action
Activists who commemorated participants of the January Uprising have been standing trials for October 27 action for two months in Hrodna Province.
Svislach District Court has fined Byarozauka activist Syarhei Trafimchyk for 800 thousand roubles (about 100 dollars) today, on December 13. He has been accused of an unauthorized action, the human rights website "Viasna" reports.
Four participants of the action were detained on the day the action was held. Three of them were jailed and one person was fined. Activists form Svislach Victar Dzesyatsik, Anatol Valyuk and Yury Hlebik were fiend a month later.
BPF activist Vadzim Saranchukou and Iryna Danilouskiya have been asked to read their case papers. It is not clear when they will stand trial.
