Third anniversary of December 19, 2010 events marked today

According to the official election results, Lukashenka scored 80% of the votes. His opponents did not score more than 3%. Independent observers register numerous violations and according to some surveys, Lukashenka could not even get 50% of the votes which was supposed to result in a run-off.
 

A protest action took place in Minsk on the evening of December 19. It became the biggest protest action in the previous few years and was severely dispersed. More than 500 people were jailed including almost all the residential candidates.

According to the CEC, the election's results looked as follows:
