Amnesty International representative refused entry to Belarus
The Belarus authorities have denied a visa to Amnesti International's Heather McGill.
Amnesty International is trying to find out why visa was denied, reports Charter'97. But, AI General Secretary Salil Shetty's inquiry to Belarusian MFA and Belarus embassy in Great Britain is yet to be replied.
The human rights organization assumes that McGill is banned to enter Belarus for political reasons.
