"Amnesty International" demands to release participants of silent protests
"Belarusian authorities should release participants of the peaceful silent protest immediately and unconditionally", - said in the statement.
“The Belarusian authorities must respect the freedom of assembly of those wishing to protest peacefully,” said John Dalhuisen, Amnesty International’s Deputy Director for Europe and Central Asia.
“The Belarusian authorities must stop using violence and administrative sentences to punish demonstrators and discourage future protest,” he added.
