Almost all Belarusians evacuated from Syria
About 100 Belarusian citizens who lived in Syria left it for their Homeland.
This has
been informed by Radio Liberty
with a reference to the Belarusian MFA. According to the MFA Spokesman Andrei
Savinykh, the majority of our countrymen who permanently lived in Syria left
last year. Members of their families - Syrian citizens - often accompanied
them. According to the MFA there are no Belarusian citizens in the conflict
zone now.
Some Belarusian citizens decided to stay in Syria due to their own wish.
Three diplomats stay in the Belarusian Embassy in Damascus today.
