7 more European countries join sanctions against official Minsk

They joined both economic and visa sanctions of the European Union against the official Minsk. EU High Representative on Foreign Affairs and Security policy Catherine Ashton made this statement on behalf of the European Union, informs "Charter'97".

The statement reminds about the decision taken by the EU on March 23 this year. Let us remind you, the European Union’s foreign ministers agreed to expand the restrictive measures against the Belarusian regime. The sanctions covered 29 companies and 12 persons responsible for human rights violations and repressions against the opposition and the civil society, and also support Lukashenka's authority.
