30 people detained in Homel
At least 30 people including minors were detained during a silent protest action in Homel on the evening of July 3.
The arrested were delivered to the Central and Railway detention centres.
BelaPAN reporter Alena Hermanovich was among the detained. She was delivered to Railway District Department of the Interior where about ten more people including Yauhen Suvorau, a reporter of the regional website “Strong News”, were waiting.
The journalist was released later.
