Real Madrid wins UEFA Super Cup again
The club defeated Sevilla 2:0 on the evening of August 12.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals. The Madrid club won the Super Cup in 2002 last time. The majority of victories in the Super Cup were celebrated by Italian Milano (5), Catalonian Barcelona (4), English Liverpool (3) and Dutch Ajax.
The Super Cup is the official beginning of the season in Europe. Last year’s winners of the Champions League and Europa League will meet in neutral playing fields. The Super Cup is hosted by Welsh Cardiff this year.
