Rammstein gig sets Minsk 'on fire' (video)

11,000 fans have sung Du Hast in unison at Minsk Arena. The Germans have destroyed their punctuality myth as the show was delayed for one hour. The concert report and fireworks in a video footage from the European Radio for Belarus.
Rammstein appeared on the stage in the light rays through the holes in the wall (see video)


 

This was followed by a fire show, with fire on the stage and in the hands of the musicians. The impression was that fire exploded just above the crowd of fans.

Band's local fans shared their impressions with Euroradio:

"This is the best what has been in my life, and apparentl the best what is yet to be".

"I broke my voice. I did not expect it to be so cool. I don't get such feeling when watching videos. It was great when 11.000 people were singing the old hits".

There were many people of elder age. Many grew up with those song.

"I was growing up with this band. If ACDC came, there would have been even more older generation people here".

Euroradio also spotted Alexander Kulinkovich with his family.

Despite the cheapest tickets cost Br130,000 ($45) and the places were not the best, it did not spoil the impression.

"We could only see the boots, because our seats were in the location where almost nothing could be seen but the show was totally cool".

During the concert, beer was not sold. But a Euroradio correspondent found a cafe on the seventh floor. The access was free but not advertised, so there were just few people inside.

Sitting at the table, one could watch the show and drink beer, tequila, rum or any other alcohol.
