Prominent actor arrested for pedophilia
Prominent actor and movie director Alexei Turovich has been detained for pedophilia. Siarhei Balashou, a senior aide to Minsk's Public Prosecutor, told reporters that the director defiled boys at his home from February 2007 to April 2009.
Three criminal episodes of pedophilia habe already been confirmed, reports BELTA news agency.
This year, Alexei Turovich marked his 50th birthday anniversary and 25 years in the profession.
He is also the director general of the HandalWesting firm. During the last parliamentary elections, he ran for a seat in the parliament.
Turovich was arrested by the police in August, but he was released after no drugs were found on him.
