"Probably we would free the seat or simply push him away"

Euroradio: Christina, how did it happen, where were you going and from where?

We were going from Pyatroushchyna metro station with our friends, to hang out in the city center. The man walked in at Kastrychnitskaya station. He approached Lyosha and rudely told him "Free the seat". He didn't. Then the man turned to me, saying "Free the seat". Lyosha grabbed my hand and told me "Sit still". The man seized Lyosha by the hat and started pulling. Then he seized him by the face and the fight started. Lyosha's brother tried to break up the fight.

Euroradio: So, who was fighting and who was breaking up the fight?

I didn't participate. I am a witness. I didn't even touch the man. I would never do anything like this, especially to a handicapped person. Yahor (Lyosha's brother) also. As for Lyosha, the man violated his private space too much.

Euroradio: So, how did it happen?

He started pulling him by the hat, the face. Lyosha got up and pushed him and they started fighting.

Euroradio: What about the other guy?

He tried to break up the fight. I closed my eyes of fear and didn't see anything else.

Euroradio: How did it end?

The man wasn't lying on the floor, he was sitting on the bench, bleeding.

Euroradio: Was there blood?

They drew blood of his (the handicapped man) eye-brow.

Euroradio: What about your friends?

Lyosha had a scar, his face was scratched. However, we didn't go to the police, although we wanted it, but decided that everything will be ok.

Euroradio: Was there blood on Lyosha's face?

Yes, his own blood.

Euroradio: Can you describe the man?

About forty, grey jacket, a bit untidy.

Euroradio: Why didn't you free the seat?

First, he was rude when asking for that.

Euroradio: What exactly did he say?

He said in a very rude voice "Free the seat". They call us scums now, but it is unclear who is a scum after all. This man behaved like a pig. He did have any sticks or anything, it wasn't obvious that he was handicapped. He walked normally. I mean, it was impossible to tell he was handicapped - a normal man from the country-side.

Euroradio: How did the passengers behave?

They paid no attention. They turned their faces away, like "It's nothing to do with us".

Euroradio: Didn't anyone try to defend the man?

Some man tried to calm Lyosha down in the end.

Euroradio: What do you do, do you study somewhere?

I study in a college, all of us do.

Euroradio: What is your attitude to the comments at your vkontakte.ru social network page? Why did you renew it?

There is a lot of information that I need there. If people have no brains and they don't know what they write, let them do it, it's their business. I don't care, I don't remember bad things, I know I have done nothing wrong.

Euroradio: If the situation repeated, would you free the seat?

Probably we would free the seat or simply push him away.
