President’s Administration to prepare anti-corruption report

The state leader announced his decision when meeting with the leading Belarusian scientists in Minsk on Monday, BELTA reports.

"Let’s face it: some people do not care about our scientists’ work and our equipment, they only care about buying from companies where you can get a rollback looking like a commission and steal something,” Lukashenka said.

He mentioned the recent arrests in the state-owned light industry holding Bellegprom. Millions of dollars were illegally earned on imported equipment supplies as part of the industry's modernization effort. Lukashenka ordered to prepare a big anti-corruption report after that. “A Minister is like any other person! I do not understand: what do they lack?! They put their own heads into a noose, nobody is forcing them to! They know that they will get caught one day,” the Belarusian leader claimed emotionally.
